General Information

What do I need to wear/bring?

● Photo ID
Wear comfy sports clothes that you would wear running or to the gym, and a good pair of trainers.
You won’t be getting too muddy but if you feel like it, bring spare clothes or towels.

Is the event timed?

TM is not a race, it is a challenge. We created this event so that people can try out awesome
obstacles and enjoy the teamwork that is integral to Tough Mudder – not worry
about their time.
And if you want to skip an obstacle? No problem, we want you to feel comfortable. There’s no
punishment for missing an obstacle, and you’ll still get your headband and t-shirt.

Tickets

What is included with my registration?

All participants get entry to Tough Mudder, access to run the course, performance finisher t-shirt, and of course the Tough Mudder headband. Oh, and don’t forget a refreshing finisher pint.
Your headband, t-shirt, and finisher drink must be claimed at the event, on the day. Tough Mudder cannot mail out items.

How do I register?

You can register by going to the event page and clicking on the ‘Register’ button, which will take you to the page to buy your ticket. Visit our ​event listing​ to find your local TM event.

How can I create a team?

It is not necessary to register together to run as a team, but you need to create an online team so that we can make sure everyone gets the same starting time. This should be completed within 3 weeks before the event. After registering for your event, the captain of your team can follow the instructions below to create a new team free of charge:

  1. Go to MyEvents on HTTP://MYEVENTS.ACTIVE.COM
  2. Find the right event registration in your account and click Create team
  3. In the pop-up dialog, enter the team name
  4. (Optional) Enter the team description
  5. (Optional) If you want to make your team private, select the private team in Login and enter a password
  6. Click Create

How can I join a team?

After registering, you can follow the instructions below to join a team:

  1. Go to MyEvents on HTTP://MYEVENTS.ACTIVE.COM
  2. Find the registration of the correct event in your account and click Join team
  3. In the pop-up dialog, search for the desired team
  4. Click on the desired team
  5. Click Join

Can I transfer my registration to another starting battery?

Unfortunately, the batteries, once assigned, can not be changed.

I can not attend the event: is there a refund?

No, we’re sorry. We do not issue refunds, regardless of the circumstances, as clearly indicated in the company policies and in the terms and conditions accepted by each participant at the time of registration.

If you really can not participate, you can still transfer the registration to another event. The deadline for transferring your ticket is Friday before the event at 11.59pm.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

Follow the instructions below to transfer your registration to another person:

  1. Login to your Active account on ​HTTP://MYEVENTS.ACTIVE.COM.
  2. Enter the email address used to register for TM.
  3. After logging in, you will see the scheduled events.
  4. Click on the ticket you want to change.
  5. Click on “Change event”.
  6. Choose a new event.
  7. Choose a new category.
  8. Click on “Continue”.
  9. Complete the registration form and click on “Continue”.
  10. View the order details and complete the operation.

Can I transfer my registration to another TM location?

All participants can transfer the registration to another TM event. The change must be made within 23.59 (local time) on the Friday preceding the weekend of the event. Otherwise, the registration remains confirmed for the event you originally signed up for. No exceptions are allowed.

Note: there will be no transfer fee, however you will have to pay any difference in cost between your original event ticket and the new event ticket (if applicable). You will not be entitled to a partial refund if the new ticket costs less than the previous ticket.

How can I change the information on my ticket?

  1. Login to your Active account on HTTP://MYEVENTS.ACTIVE.COM.
  2. Enter the email address used to register to the event.
  3. Enter the password.
  4. Click on the ticket you want to change.
  5. In the top right corner of the page, click on “Edit”.
  6. After making the necessary changes, scroll to the end of the page and click on “Save”.

Day of the event

What time does it start?

The first start time varies depending on the event, but generally it is at 9.00am for events held on Saturday. We ask you to show up 45 minutes before the official start time, which will be communicated via email with 1-2 weeks in advance.

Can I compete with my family/friends?

Of course yes: participating with a team is the beauty of the event! Remember that you must register as a team (follow the instructions in the previous section) and choose the same start time to ensure you get on track together.

Do the teams have a maximum number of people?

No, there are no limits: bring all the friends you want.

Can my friends / relatives come to see me?

Absolutely, to watch a TM they simply need to buy a spectator ticket. There will be plenty to do for your friends and family.

When / where should I collect the bib number assigned to me?

The bibs are distributed on the day of the event to the registration tent. Make sure you have a ID at your fingertips to speed up the procedure.

Is there a safe place to leave personal effects during the race?

Yes, we will always offer a bag drop for participants to drop off their bag.

Where can I get my T-shirt/headband?

Your headband, t-shirt, and cold beer must be picked up at the event. Tough Mudder cannot mail out items.

Can I bring a cell phone or a video camera?

You can bring your cell phone, but at your own risk. Tough Mudder is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by electronic devices during the race.

What identity documents should I bring? And if I do not have a photo?

To register on the day of the event you need an identification document (provided with photos) that shows the same name as on the ticket. If you do not have documents of this type, ask for assistance at the information desk.

Will there be showers?

All participants will have the opportunity to rinse with cold water after finishing the course.

Course

How long is the course?

The track is about 12-16 kilometers long.

How are the obstacles along the course?

How many obstacles are there?

More than 20 obstacles are waiting for you all along the course.

What if I can not pass one?

Obviously you will have other Mudders at your side who can not wait to help you overcome all the obstacles. But if you do not feel like it, avoid those you want. You will receive the T-shirt and the band even if you do not pass all the tests, and nobody will penalize you.

Can I get around an obstacle?

As we see it, Tough Mudder is your chance to have fun and really feel fulfilled now of the end. If you think that a damned obstacle will ruin this sense of fulfillment, avoid it too: there is nothing to be ashamed of.

Where can I request medical assistance?

The first aid staff is stationed at the base camp of the event. For more information on where to find it, ask a manager on the day of the event.

Is there a time limit to complete the route?

There are no time limits to complete the Tough Mudder. However, for safety reasons or if it is necessary to close the route, the employees will indicate any detours to reach the finish line.
